Orłowo Hotel

Gdynia, ul. Zaciszna

Project: 2013

Area: 6,976 m2

The building’s form is inspired by its natural surroundings. The coastal hills, wooded with beech forest, drop steeply towards the shoreline of the bay, creating a cliff that is unique on the Polish coast.
The soft, smooth lines of the seashore
and the contour lines of the terrain shaping the picturesque Kępa Redłowska were the direct inspiration for our project. The individual storeys follow the contours of the building and gently shift in relation to each other, giving the impression that the building has been exposed to the wind and naturally blends in with
its surroundings…
