Kashubia,
Project: 2012
Area: 550 m2
The hidden house is located in the picturesque Kashubian landscape, on a hill, next to a lake. By taking advantage of the natural terrain, we embedded the body of the building into the ground, exposing it only from the water view. Approaching the plot by foot or entering the property, we cannot see the house. Only a staircase leading down towards the lake, located between wooden walls, announces the entrance to the seclusion. The stairs continue directly to the pier. The main façade material is wood. The design concept is based on the principle of the least interference with the surroundings.
