The basic assumption for the development of the new form of the building complex is to expose the main part of the building, containing the concert hall together with the foyer and selected related functions, and to locate the remaining functions of the building deeper into the ground. The concept adopted in such a way makes it possible to minimise the development directly interfering with the historic spatial layout of the site. The regular square located in the rear of the main edifice of the historic building will be commemorated on the new forum level as a water reservoir with an integrated piano stage.
